Chipola College
2018-2022
I started my journey in higher education through the dual enrollment program offered in my home county. I attended the local community college and attained my Associate of Arts Degree in Architecture simultaneously as I graduated with my High School Diploma. The coursework at Chipola College centered on the general education requirements in architecture.
Some of the classes I completed at Chipola College include:
-
Calculus & Analytic Geometry II
-
General Physics II
-
Technical Writing

University of Florida
2022-Present
When I began the Architecture Program in the College of Design, Construction, and Planning, I was introduced to the world of design and how to arrange spaces. As a third year, I have strengthened and developed my design process and passed the Pin-Up requirement that happens at the end of second year. This is a process that looks over a physical summary of each student's work over the course of the program and evaluates their ability to organize this work before they are able to move onto their third year. I have also participated in the mentorship program where students come together to form mentor groups where we can ask each other for advice and critiques on our work. I participated in the University Scholar's Program, where under the guidance of a mentor, undergraduate students are able to complete a year-long research project. My architecture research project examined Passive Design in Florida Cracker Houses and its findings were presented at three university sanctioned events and the IASESP's Traces and Places Conference in Jacksonville, Florida in 2025.
